Flights permitting, we can tailor your holiday to fit your schedule and your budget.  You may have only a few days free.   Should you have at least a week at your disposal, why not 'capital trot' and compare post-Communist Prague and Budapest on the same trip?   Should you wish a more sedentary stay, Contatti Language Tours constitute excellent value for money and can be combined with your individual Contatti programme.   


Combine with 'city breaks' over the weekend

Many Contatti programmes are also available at weekends and as such fit perfectly into the many reasonably priced 'city breaks' offered by the major tour operators.   Add to the good value of your long weekend in Venice in the company of a Venetian and experience Italy through Italian eyes.

No threat of cancellation

Since Contatti  programmes are drawn up especially for you, they are not dependent on minimum numbers or subject to high season mark-ups.  They can also be booked at short notice - important for working people who cannot always predict their availability.

And not only for single travellers…

Contatti programmes are suitable for couples, partners or friends as well.  We can draw up a joint programme taking account of both your interests.  Alternatively, we can organise separate programmes with separate hosts whereby you can compare your experiences at the end of the day.  Pool rather than share your memories.   Personal space is especially important on holiday!

Costings:  The price range for sessions can vary from £15.00--£25.00 per hour depending on the country visited.  These sessions can include sightseeing, general discussion, and visits to places of interest.

Your personal programme especially for you

Contatti are individual programmes conducted in English.   They comprise sightseeing as well as informed discussion and conversation about the life -style, culture, history and politics of the country you are visiting.  Your host is usually a guide, a trained teacher and local resident.  In all cases he speaks excellent English and has an intimate knowledge of your host country.   He can talk to you about its history, its culture or its politics.  With him you can inspect its monuments, visit its museums, tour its art galleries.   Or he can lure you away from the tourist track and introduce you to lesser known haunts, often inaccessible to the package traveller.  He can perhaps arrange a visit to a company or a bank.   He can help you trail the antique  shops and tell you where the bargains are.   He is your escort, your mentor and your facilitator.   He is there to help you plan your holiday, as 'reactively' or as 'proactively' as you like.
